Mommy! Mommy!
There's a monster under my bed.
Worry not, little one,
Those are just inside your head.
But monsters, they are real
And they live just outside
But raise your face
Little one, don't hide.
Learn to fight and be aware
Please don't live in fear
Just know that they exist
Little one, do you hear?
Learn how to stay safe
So you worry about yourself less
Little one, please Learn to fight
So that you are not helpless
Monsters are very real
This I've come to know
I've experienced them in this world
And also in my home
I don't want you afraid
I simply want you aware
Little one, be on your guard
Little one, please don't be scared.
